If your baby has a boat or an airplane easily out of paper, then he can already be taught to make an elephant. First, you yourself practice at your leisure, so that your child will not be bored with this process and start to work. Moreover, this step-by-step instruction will allow you to easily perform this craft.
How to make an elephant out of paper
Take a square sheet.
Fold it horizontally and vertically.
Now bend alternately diagonally.
You have a square with horizontal, vertical and diagonal lines.
Grasp the side corners of the square nearest to you and connect its sides.
The diagonal fold will be inside. Do the same with the opposite marked square.
You will get this kind of blank. Center of the square at the top.
Side corners and bottom sides bend towards the center line.
Turn the blank and bend it the same way.
Bend the top corner down.
All bends well iron.
Turn the top of the craft again. Bend the top leaf. Inside the “pocket” are clearly visible all the markup that you just made.
In the four folds that are on the edges, you must bend the sheet inward, aligning the corners.
You will have a high diamond.
Turn the craft on the other side and there too bend the edges inward.
Lower the top corner down.
Turn the stock again. You will see there are two pointed triangles.
You should bend each triangle by 45 degrees in different directions so that their vertical lines coincide with the horizontal one.
Folds press down. On them you will work further.
Spread the outer edges of this narrow triangle.
On the side lines bend so that you get such a diamond.
Make a rhombus from the second triangle too.
Again turn the craft. There will be a small triangle.
Connect its top with the center of the crafts. Fold the fold.
Turn the workpiece over again. Side diamonds bend to the middle.
Now each of them bend horizontally in half to the center line. That you make legs elephant.
Put them together with bends inwards and bend them to the side where there is a small triangle on the bottom of the workpiece.
Fold both halves horizontally.
Now do the back of the elephant. To do this, measure the height of a small triangle on the bend of the part and at the same distance bend the left side of the workpiece downwards so that its right side is parallel to the "legs" of the elephant.
Straighten it again. Spread its sides and fold the moving part inward along the fold.
On a long piece, make a mark so that it is in line with the legs of the elephant.
Fold the corner up.
Spread the edge of the workpiece again and fold the corner over the fold.
Lateral edges bend so that at you the rectangle has turned out.
Turn the tip of the part curved upwards outside, imitating a tail. Press both halves.
Now start making the trunk. Bend the sharp triangle so that its right side is parallel to the legs of the elephant.
Spread the sides of the part, and fill this triangle along the prepared bends there.
Bend the sides of this part to the center line.
Connect both halves.
Bending the trunk in two places, give it a natural position.
Press on both sides so that the figure does not disperse in different directions.
