Employers will be punished for "wage slavery"
The responsibility of employers who impede the choice of a salary bank employee will be strengthened. It is reported by the press service of the Ministry of Labor. The ministry prepared a draft law on this topic and posted it on the federal portal of draft regulations for public comment. We are talking about amendments to the Administrative Code.
As explained in the press service of the ministry, since 2014, the Labor Code contains a rule: the salary must be paid to the employee at the place of work or transferred to the specified bank. At the same time, the employee has the right to change the bank and notify the employer about it, providing him with new details for transferring money - no later than five working days before the day the salary is paid. And the employer does not have the right to refuse an employee to transfer his salary to a new bank or to oblige an employee to receive it through his chosen credit organization.
