Penguin

It often happens that the old, but attractive-looking clothing is not used because it is either very stretched or, on the contrary, small. And if it’s a pity to throw these clothes, but you cannot wear them, then you can make a new thing out of them (a piece of clothing, a toy, etc.). If the fabric for sewing new clothes is not enough, then you can either purchase the fabric, or from the existing one, make an interesting toy that can decorate the house and entertain children.
I had a funny toy penguin from my old pantyhose, which I needed seven days to work with (I sewed by hand) and materials and tools, such as black, white and brown fabric, threads, scissors, cotton wool, needles for stamping, paper for stitching. drawing a sample, as well as a black cloth on a fur, a pink viscose napkin and blue rhinestones.

The manufacturing process of the toy:

Step 1: We make a sample of paper, which we will need to be divided into its component parts. According to their shape, we will need to make the details of the fabric:

Step 2: Now we sew the front part of the toy (made of white fabric) from the back:

Step 3: Next, we cut out a rectangular shape from the fur fabric and sew its upper side with the bottom, then sew around the edges, forming a magnificent neck ornament:

Step 4: Now we twist the body of the toy from the inside out and stretch the resulting decoration on its neck, then sew it to her:

Step 5: Now we need to take doll eyes and rhinestones (for comparison only, to choose which ones are better suited as eyes), sew wings from the remnants of black fabric and beak from pink viscose napkin, and then fill them with cotton:

Step 6: Next, from the cardboard we need to cut a sample for the manufacture of the paws of the toy.
To compose each paw, I make three parts: one, a whole, for the bottom of the paw, and two “half” for the top:

Step 7: We sew the resulting wings with a beak, and I choose rhinestones and glue them as eyes.
Fill the toy with cotton wool, and sew the details along the pattern for making the paws. When they are ready, they will also need to be filled with cotton and sewn to the craft:

So the resulting toy looks from behind:

It seems to me that the paws of the toy turned out to be too large and their fabric does not fit well with the general appearance of the crafts. In addition, the wings are not smooth, and I want to fix it.
I cut out new patterns for wings and paws from paper, and make new pieces of fabric from their shape:

When the details of the paws are stitched, they will need to be filled with cotton wool, after which the holes through which it was inserted must be sewn:

The resulting wings and feet I attach to the craft.
