The only exception is nitrogen, which is not found in this fertilizer. Often gardeners neutralize the soil with such a compound if the following crops grow in it: potatoes and other root crops, currants, cabbage. Ash is used at any time of the year. Usually, sandy soil is surrendered in the spring period, and clayey soil in autumn. Ash should not mix with ammonium sulfate, manure fertilizers. It is stored in a dry place, like potassium sulfate, in order to avoid quality deterioration.
